Seasoning Up Your Guacamole

Celebrated Chef Rick Bayless joined Tonia's Kitchen to talk about ways you can really fire up your guacamole.  Bayless, the owner of the Frontera Grill in Chicago says he changes up the popular dip to reflect the season.  This time, Rick is adding roasted fennel instead of diced onion and, perhaps
most surprising, chopped raw apples instead of tomatoes.  Rick says he takes three ripe avocados, then adds salt and a touch of lime juice.  It's important to note that a lot of lime juice will overpower the avocado flavor, so be careful not to add too much.  Finally, add the fennel and the apple, and enjoy a scrumptious dip that will light up your tastebuds!
