How about a cranberry tart?

On this Thanksgiving edition of Tonia's Daily Dish, author Anne Byrn tells us about something very easy to make.  Byrn, who wrote What Can I Bring? discussed a delicious, almost cookie-like cranberry tart. Byrn starts by taking a tart pan, lightly buttering it, then adding a package worth of rinsed fresh cranberries. She also includes sugar, and chopped pecan or walnuts (which are optional).  Anne then focuses on the batter, which she says is very easy to make.  It's comprised of flour, sugar, eggs, butter and a hint of almond extract.  Pour the batter over the cranberries and bake at 350-degrees for 45 minutes.  You get a warm cobbler-like treat, that goes great with ice cream!
