It's time to satisfy that sweet tooth! And really, what better way is there to do that but with chocolate! Cookbook author Barbara Feldman Morse stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk more about one of her favorites, Dark Chocolate with Espresso Madeleines!
Barbara told Tonia she's been baking them for about 35 years, and they never cease to satisfy! It's almost like a game, as Barbara says she tries to cram as much chocolate as she can into one space. Barbara uses semi-sweet chocolate, along with espresso coffee to enhance the chocolate's flavor. Blend the chocolate with butter, sugar and flour with a madeleine style shape and bake for around 12 minutes. Dip the finished madeleines into more semi-sweet chocolate and serve. Mmmm. chocolate overload!
