Steak...and Salad


At Tonia's Kitchen, we strive for the best.  Fitting then that our next guest was involved in the book Best of The Best.  Kate Heddings with Food and Wine Magazine told Tonia the book celebrates great chefs and great dishes.  Kate says one recipe in particular goes great with grilled steak.  Chef Pete
Evans is profiled in the book, along with his Tomato Salad with Green Olive Dressing.  Most of the ingredients are pretty standard, except one, Chef Pete adds sparking mineral water.  And that really makes it hum!  Kate says to chop the tomatoes and infuse them with the mineral water, the place on the grill.  It's a magnificent taste that makes for an amazing steak, and salad!
