Healthy Cooking...With Your Brain in Mind

We all want to be healthier, and/or thinner. But does anyone consider the impact of what they eat on their brain health? That's what Dr. Annie Fenn wants people to think about as they plan what to eat. Dr. Fenn, who wrote the new cookbook, The Brain Health Kitchen, stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about her book, why she wrote it and how following what she has to say can really impact how you feel. Annie, who is an OB/GYN, told Tonia that back in 2010, she wanted to do something different, and enrolled in culinary school, in an effort to understand what people were eating, and how she could help them live longer, healthier lives. She says that most people don't understand that poor nutrition hurts their immune system and can lead to you being sicker. Dr. Annie wants people to know good nutrition can be tasty, while making you feel better!
