A "Moving Target"

 


 

That's what one cookbook author says helped her get back her intestinal health. For Cassie Joy-Garcia, who wrote Cook Once Dinner Fix, it was years ago that she began her journey to better health (and happiness). Her book is about the kinds of foods you eat to help fight inflation, but in the beginning, it's about figuring which foods are harmful, at least at first, and incorporating the foods you know will help in the battle. She stopped by Tonia's Kitchen with a few ideas and methods from her book. Cassie told Tonia that back in the day, she shied away from grains, legumes, dairy and other processed foods. But since Cassie has regained a lot of her intestinal health, she's reintroduced grains, legumes and dairy again. Processed foods...not so much!
