Rich delicious chicken, that's wholesome and tender can be yours with one little ingredient, buttermilk. Not only does it add to the flavor of the chicken, it tenderizes it and keeps it that way when you fry it. Claire Robinson, who hosts Food Network Television's Five Ingredient Fix stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about her Panko and Pecan Coated chicken that's marinated in buttermilk. Claire told Tonia she takes some hot sauce and adds that to the buttermilk, then dips the chicken in the panko and pecan coating that's been chopped up in a food processor. Shallow fry the chicken in a oil that adds no flavor (you don't want to override the flavors already there) and enjoy a wonderfully crunch and moist chicken dish!
