It might be time to focus on your ideas for dessert. We all have an imaginative side, why not put it to good use? Dorie Greenspan, who wrote the cookbook, Baking Chez Moi, told Tonia's Kitchen about a dessert idea that lets your ideas shine through. Dorie told Tonia she starts with a pineapple, cut in half. She then sprinkles the pineapple with spices that she has lying around the kitchen cabinet. Dorie also uses vanilla bean. Then she adds a mix of jam, orange juice and any liquor you have around (it's up to you, rum, bourbon, whiskey). Bake it all together in an oven for two hours and serve it as you like...be it with vanilla ice cream, or alongside a cocktail. Go wild with it, after all, it's your dessert!
