The kids are home on Christmas Break (and so's your significant other) and they are hungry. You're looking for a neat treat that'll keep everyone satisfied until dinner, but it has to be fun. Cookbook author Rozanne Gold has an idea to help you out. She told Tonia's Kitchen about a cookie recipe that's only great to eat, but fun to look at as well. They're rainbow sugar cookies. Rozanne told Tonia she takes Mascarpone Cheese, flour, rainbow sugar sprinkles and a pinch of salt. She then adds them together and mixes in a food processor. The mixing forms a dough which Rozanne then refrigerates for an hour. She then cuts the dough into irregular shapes and flattens them with a rolling pin. You put the dough into an oven that's been pre-heated to 450 degrees and bake for 12 minutes. They're tasty and pretty. What a wining combination!
