An Amazing Chocolate Tart With Raspberry



Do you need a holiday treat for your upcoming party?  Do you like Ricotta cheese?  If the answers to these questions is yes, then we've got a recipe for you. Andy King, who co-wrote the new cookbook Baking By Hand stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about his recipe for a Chocolate Ricotta Tart with Raspberry Jam.  He, and his co-author Jackie King, start by baking a chocolate short dough crust shaped in small tarts.  They then use very-high quality Ricotta and whip together with vanilla beans and sugar (or other natural sweetner).  The cheese takes on a very smooth texture that's poured over raspberry jam (preferably homemade if possible) in the chocolate tart. It makes for a simple, yet elegant treat that's very tasty, and makes for a wonderful party treat!        LISTEN TO THE PODCAST
