A Perfect Pear For A Salad
You have a pear. You have a salad. You have dressing for that salad! Let me explain, Minnie Stein, who wrote the cookbook Moosewood Restaurant Favorites came by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about her Pear Thyme Dressing. Minnie told Tonia it's very easy to make, only using one pear, along with thyme, water, apple cider vinegar, dijon mustard and maybe a little honey. Core the pear and add everything together in a blender. With the blender running on low, add oil and mix. It makes a deliciously sweet and savory salad dressing.
