And many times, a classic chocolate-dipped frozen banana would hit the spot! But while those aren't terribly unhealthy for you, let's think about improving this delicious treat. Barbara Berry wrote the cookbook Batter Up Kids, and she used to teach children's cooking classes. Barbara stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about her take on Banana Pops. She told Tonia instead of chocolate, use any flavor of yogurt, and then cover the banana in nuts or dried fruits. The put them in the freezer for a little bit of time. Barbara says the kids love them, and the parents can feel good about serving them.
