Call It An Ultra Macaroon!


This is a favorite!  Chef John Baricelli, who wrote the SoNo Baking Cookbook, stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about a delicious cookie that doesn't have many ingredients. Chef John, who's also with
PBS' Everyday Baking told Tonia the Chocolate Almond Macaroon has almond paste, almond extract and chocolate truffle cream.  You only have to bake them in the oven for 12-15 minutes, and the almond paste makes it very satisfying!
