Happy "hump" day! And to celebrate this most momentous occasion, we at Tonia's Kitchen are going to start something new called "All Wine Wednesdays." To begin, Tonia talked with Jim Collins, who's the chief winegrower at Frei Brothers Vineyards in Sonoma County, California. He says they're actively working on sustainable growing on their land. Collins says for every acre of land they plant, they leave another acre alone. The benefits have been immeasurable, because it's led to a number of birds and insects that help the winegrowing process! He says it's sustainability you can taste right from the bottle! For more, check out Tonia's winetalk page.
Tonia’s Kitchen, a nationally syndicated radio show, is where food and wine lovers explore, practice and grow. Listeners hear Tonia talk with top chefs, groundbreaking cookbook authors, fellow foodies and experts in the worlds of wine and gastronomy. Aspiring kitchen masters are invited to have a seat at the table in Tonia's Kitchen where they'll learn that, whatever they cook, taste and nutrition go hand-in-hand and they'll be taken beyond everyday ingredients!
