In Italian, the word Biscotti actually translates to twice baked, so it's no surprise that when Beth Nielsen with Nielsen-Massey Vanilla told Tonia's Kitchen about today's recipe, it included a second round in the oven. Nielsen says her Biscotti recipe includes five of their fine ingredients, including Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract, Almonds, Chocolate, Lemon and Orange. She starts by mixing the items together, and forming dough. Lay that dough onto a buttered pan and bake. After finishing up, take a sharp knife and cut pieces of oval-like sections that look like Biscotti, and then bake again.
