It's Time to Play Ball



Cheese Ball that is. And what a perfectly crisp, cool summer treat this is! Chef Jeff with Open Nature stopped by Tonia's Kitchen with a delicious idea on the classic party appetizer. Jeff told Tonia he starts with whipped cream cheese, and spices things up a little with some Mango Habanero hot sauce and other ingredients. Following the recipe below, it's super easy to make and just might help create a party atmosphere in your home...even if you can't have a party right now.

  • Beat whipped cream cheese and cream cheese together in a large bowl until completely blended. Add green onion tops, chipped beef, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper; mix well. Form cheese mixture into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate until firm, at least 3 hours.
