A Super Summer Salad

And just what makes it super, you might ask? Grilled tomatoes and summer fruits. Let's talk peaches, plums and nectarines, all on the grill. Chef Billy with Restaurant Associates came by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about this super salad, which is actually quite simple. Billy told Tonia to lightly grill the fruit, and put a nice char on its skin. Use fresh dill along with chopped basil to garnish the salad, along with olive oil. Grilling the fruit allows it to caramelize and gives off the smell of burnt sugar. It's a surprisingly crisp and light salad, fresh from the grill.
