.because this drink has a lot of spinach! Stephanie Tourles, who wrote the book Raw Energy In A Glass, told Tonia's Kitchen about her delightful breakfast drink, called Popeye's Tropical Green Zinger. Stephanie says she takes two cups of spinach, 2 cups of extra ripe pineapple, a cup of water and a little flaxseed oil. Blend it all together and serve chilled. Not only does it give you an extra kick of energy in the morning, it also provides protein, Omega-3 fatty acids and lots of fiber. Thanks to the pineapple, you'd never guess how much spinach is in this drink, and depending on who you're serving it to, that might not be a bad thing!
