It's true, Rosh Hashana is a sweet holiday and you want the choice of wine you make to reflect that. But being that the holiday is centered around a large meal, starting things off with a dessert wine is probably not the best choice. Gabe Geller, with Royal Wines, stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about some unique styles of wine to best suit the meal. Gabe told Tonia he chooses a Muscat of Samos. Now a Muscat is generally a sweet wine, but this version of it is made from special grapes grown in a Greek island. It's a unique flavor that will only add to your meal. L'Shana Tova!
