...it's horrible if you're Acid Reflux disease that is! Yes, fish can be a fighter against Acid Reflux, if you prepare it the right way. That's according to Dr. Jamie Koufman. She stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about the fantastic properties of certain foods, as part of her new book Dr. Koufamn's Acid Reflux Diet. Jamie told Tonia that she was inspired by a simple, yet delicious halibut steak recipe. She takes the fish steaks, salts them lightly, pan sears them in olive oil. She then adds ginger, chicken stock, and tops with cilantro. Jamie then serves the fish with rice that has cumin and turmeric in it. It's a delicious recipe, and Jamie says it will help fight acid reflux
