It's time to travel, and with the summer season and a real desire amongst Americans to break out of their homes and see new things, it's time to find somewhere new and different you can spend your hard-earned free time at. And that's where we and Yankee Magazine come in. They're out with what they call their favorite of all the issues; the May/June Travel Issue! This year, Yankee Magazine has named a special section the Call of the Coast. Ian Aldrich, who's the Senior Features Editor, stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about what makes the issue special, including an in-depth look at some of the coastal villages that haven't been "discovered." They're quiet coastal towns that haven't seen the tourist boom yet, and are real gems to visit. Ian says one in particular, Damariscotta, Maine, has a wonderful downtown and a really great vibe.
