A Fruit Dessert...With Vodka!

 




Did we get your attention with that last part? Hope so because this one is really worth making! Rage Baking cookbook author Kathy Gunst came by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about their recipe for Fruit Gallates, using fresh summer seasonal fruit and vodka of course! Kathy told Tonia you mix flour, salt and sugar and use a tablespoon of vodka as opposed to water. Roll it out into a 14-inch circle, fill with the fruit and put it in a hot oven for about 30 min. It's simple, beautiful and most of all, delicious.
