It's Always A "Jolly Time" For Popcorn
And to celebrate National Popcorn Month, we at Tonia's Kitchen are celebrating the Jolly Time way! It was back in 1914, that Jolly Time's predecessor, the American Pop Corn Company, was founded in Sioux City, Iowa by Cloid H.Smith, and today it's still owned by the same family. Tonia had a chance talk with current President Gary Smith about where popcorn has been, and where it's going!
