With the arrival of fall, thoughts turn to heartier dishes that warm you up, as the weather turns colder. A lot of these heartier dishes involve turkey, but it need not only be your standard oven-roasted bird. While that's delicious, there's so many other ways to prepare the turkey. Phyllis Pelman who wrote the cookbook Fix It And Enjoy It told Tonia's Kitchen about her Orange Cinnamon Turkey Cutlets. She starts with adding salt, pepper and cinnamon to the fresh cutlets and placing everything together in a non-stick skillet. Phyllis then lightly browns everything and places it in a covered platter. She then adds reduced sugar orange marmalade, more ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg and ginger to a saucepan and melts the marmalade. Drizzle over the turkey and serve. It's a sweet and savory treat!
