A Sophisticated, Adult Version Of The Swirl Cone

LISTEN TO THE PODCAST

You remember the swirl cone growing up right?  Vanilla and Chocolate Soft-Serve, blended together. It was a delicious summer treat when you were a kid.  Now that you're grown up, here's an adult version of the swirl, it's called a Goat Cheese Olive Spiral.  Abbie Dodge, who wrote the cookbook Everyday Baker, stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk more about this delicious party appetizer. Abbie told Tonia she uses Creamy Goat Cheese, Olive Tapanade and Chives.  Combine that with either Puff Pastry you made, or store-bought.  Roll it up, chill it, slice it and bake it.  Important note: if you don't like Goat Cheese, Abbie says there are other fillings you can use.  It's perfect for a New Years' Party!
