A Cool, Summery, Citrusy Dressing To Spice Up Your Meal

LISTEN TO THE PODCAST

There's really something special about a citrus-twist to many summer meals, be they beef, chicken or fish.  And Andrea Chesman, who wrote the cookbook Serving Up The Harvest, stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about a delicious dressing/marinade that's really going to bring out your food's flavors!  Andrea talked about her Lemon-Soy dressing that she always keeps in the refrigerator during the summer months.  She uses it not only for her meats, but also side vegetables as well (especially broccoli!)  It's very easy to make, and really adds a lemony zest to your summer table.

Lemon-Soy Dressing
1/2 a cup of soy sauce
1/4  cup of water
1/4  dark sesame oil
6 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
4 garlic cloves.
Shake it all up in a jar,  Refrigerate and serve.
