You might call this next one chocolate overload! We call it a recipe for Chocolate Hazelnut Truffles. Susan Fascell with National Confectioners' Association stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about a dessert that's going to thrill any chocolate lover. Susan told Tonia she starts with 2 1/2 cups of bittersweet chocolate that's been finely chopped. She then adds heavy whipped cream, and a cup of toasted and skinned hazelnuts. Susan brings the cream to a boil and pours it into a bowl with the chocolate in it, whisk it and adds most of the hazelnuts. She then lets the mix sit at room temperature and later, using a pastry bag place it onto parchment paper, in the shape of truffles. Finish with the extra hazelnuts and some cocoa powder. They're sure to satisfy any chocolate lover!
