Pickled Peaches?!?



Would you believe peaches can be pickled?  I didn't, but that's what Tonia's Daily Dish is for, expanding our horizons in the kitchen, with delicious results!  Laura McIntosh with the TV show Bringing It Home stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about her Pickled Peaches and Prosciutto.  She told Tonia it makes for a great appetizer or very light dinner.  Laura says the key ingredient is a half-a-cup of white wine vinegar, 1 cup of sugar, a half-a-cup of champagne,  4 peeled and sliced peaches and a half pound of prosciutto.  Laura told Tonia it's a terrific taste treat that really preserves the flavor of the peaches.
