A More Balanced Take On Pinot

Recently it seems, the venerable Pinot Noir, has turned somewhat heavy handed when it comes to the taste profile. For this All-Wine Wednesday, David Rossi with Fulcrum Wines stopped by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about his winery's lighter take on the red favorite.  He says the longer the Pinot grape is left on the wine, the heavier the fruit taste.  Rossi told Tonia it also means a higher alcohol content!  Fulcrum picks their grapes a little earlier, which means a lighter taste, and a little less alcohol.   Find out more about Fulcrum Wines here.
