The arrival of Mardi Gras season brings visions of revelry, Bourbon Street New Orleans, beads and perhaps (!) a few drinks. It also means it's time for King Cake. Sherry Thigpen from Paul's Pastry Shop in Picayune, Mississippi joined Tonia's Kitchen to talk about the roughly 40 kinds of King Cake they sell. She told Tonia they come in a variety of fillings, from various berries to pecan praline (Tonia's favorite!). Sherry says Paul's ships them in a way that allows you to decorate the cakes yourself. The cakes range from elaborate to simple, and can really add an authentic touch to any Fat Tuesday party. Check out Paul's website at www.paulspastry.com
