Chef Josiah Citrin who owns the famous Santa Monica restaurant Charcoal Venice and wrote the new cookbook Charcoal, came by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about his recipe for Grilled Shishito Peppers with Sugar Snap Peas and Citrus Mango Salt. Once you grill them, you just might get addicted to them, especially when served with the mango salt. The two flavors compliment each other and create an amazing taste treat. Josiah told Tonia the grill itself is such a bridge to different cultures through food, since everyone cooks over a fire at some point.
