Not Your Standard Slaw!

In fact this slaw has a decidedly East Asian flair.  Deepa Thomas, who wrote the new cookbook Deepa's Secrets came by Tonia's Kitchen with her recipe for a favorite; Vegetable Ginger Cabbage Slaw.  Deepa told Tonia the slaw combines the classic element of thinly sliced cabbage and combines it with the twists of Toasted Sesame Seed Oil, ginger and fresh lemon.  It's a different take on a classic side dish.
