We'll Call this Super Banana Bread

And the reason it's super, is because we take it a step foward. I don't know of anyone who doesn't enjoy a fresh, hot banana bread.  You simply can't eat one bite of that wonderfully moist piece of bready-banana goodness!  Now we take it a step further with banana bread...pudding!  Chef Lance Velasquez from Home on Union Street in the culinary citadel of San Francisco told Tonia's Kitchen he starts with basic banana bread that's been cut open.  He then adds homemade custard and bakes.  Chef Lance finishes with caramel topping, fresh whipped cream and banana slices. He says it's one of his signature dishes, try whipping up a loaf and find out why.
