LISTEN TO THE PODCAST

It's an intriguing concept, and one that need not that bad for you.  Every Day With Rachael Ray Magazine Executive Editor Nina Elder came by Tonia's Kitchen to talk about their idea for chocolate fudge sauce that uses dark chocolate as its base.  The health benefits of dark chocolate (with at least 70% Cacao) are well known, and this is one delicious way to get it!

1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • Directions
    1. In a small saucepan, heat cream, chocolate, corn syrup and butter over medium-low, stirring, until butter and chocolate melt, 2 minutes. Stir in sugar; bring to boil over medium-high.
